Faziel Abdul joined Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh in September 2019. He graduated from Tilburg University in February 2019 with a Master's degree in Law & Technology and Law. During his studies, Faziel mainly focused on intellectual property law, privacy and data protection and (ICT) contract law.
In addition, he focused his theses on the interface between law and artificial intelligence. On the one hand, he studied the potential supporting role of artificial intelligence for the civil courts in the first instance and, on the other hand, he assessed the desirability of an artificially intelligent entity being able to obtain copyright in respect of its own creation.
Before Faziel definitively entered the field of work, he did internships in the legal profession. He now focuses mainly on issues within the intellectual property law practice of Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh.
