Michiel Bindels joined Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh in April 2017. Michiel obtained his civil law degree at the University of Tilburg. In June 2018, he completed the post-academic education, Grotius specialisation course in Financiering & Zekerheden (Financing and Security Rights) with Honours.
On graduation, Michiel worked at Simmons & Simmons and then Linklaters. Here he gained extensive experience in insolvency proceedings (including as a court-appointed trustee) and advised corporate, security and insolvency law. In 2011, Michiel joined Rabobank Nederland in the Financial Restructuring & Recovery department as senior account manager. At Rabobank, Michiel worked on winding down a number of the bank’s relationships in the construction and real estate industry. Michiel was inter alia involved in winding down complex investment funds and the sale of real estate investment objects and portfolios.
