Michiel Bindels

Michiel Bindels joined Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh in April 2017. Michiel obtained his civil law degree at the University of Tilburg. After his studies Michiel worked at Simmons & Simmons and Linklaters, where he was involved in insolvency proceedings (including as a court-appointed trustee), advised on banking and restructuring matters and gained extensive experience in transactions in these fields.

In 2011, Michiel joined Rabobank Nederland as senior account manager in the Financial Restructuring & Recovery department. At Rabobank, Michiel worked on the wind down of a number of the bank’s relationships in the construction and real estate industry. Michiel was inter alia involved in the wind down of complex investment funds and the sale of real estate investment objects and portfolios.

Michiel has completed various postgraduate education schemes including the Grotius specialisatieopleiding Financiering & Zekerheden (Financing and Security Rights) with cum laude in June 2018.
