Peter Goes has been a partner and advisor with Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh since 1 May 2018. With over 31 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer, Peter’s expertise lies in public and cross border M&A; private equity and board room consultancy, with a special affinity for both energy & utilities and the financial sector.
Previously Peter was a partner at NautaDutilh until 2005 and at Linklaters until April 2018. Operating from the Beijing, Amsterdam and Luxemburg offices, his role was also that of Global Knowledge & Learning Partner.
Peter litigates, where required, for the Enterprise Chamber and has been involved across a large spectrum of deals, both Dutch and international. Some unprecedented transactions, in terms of value and/or complexity, include as Vattenfall’s lead counsel in the Nuon Energy take-over, as well as for RBS in the break-up and subsequent nationalisation of ABN Amro.
Thanks to Peter’s extensive experience, he is able to serve the interests of his corporate clients and to assist Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh with both legal tech and the formation of first class transaction practice for both general and crisis management situations.
Peter has also been assigned as General Counsel to the charity Stichting de Verre Bergen.
