Vinera Martikjan has been working as an attorney at Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh since 2023. She obtained her Master’s degree in Private Law from the University of Amsterdam, where she also worked as a student assistant. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Tilburg University, where she was selected for the honours programme Top Class Tilburg Law School. Vinera completed internships at Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh and the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and worked as an external clerk at the Zeeland-West-Brabant District Court.
Recent matters
- We represent one of the largest logistics service providers in the Netherlands in complex proceedings concerning the liability of intermediaries in cases of alleged trademark infringements by third parties. We successfully defended our clients in the first instance, are currently handling the appeal regarding whether a logistics service provider can be considered the importer, and have also assisted them in various enforcement disputes.
- We successfully represented a hospitality entrepreneur and their music concept in several proceedings against parties infringing their well-known trademark and concept. In a case concerning the use of a confusingly similar name by another event organiser, we represented our clients in the first instance—where the court confirmed trademark infringement—and are now representing them in the ongoing appeal.
