Wouter Pors

Wouter Pors has been a lawyer since 1989, specializing in intellectual property with a strong focus on patent law. His technical background—having studied architecture for several years at Eindhoven University of Technology before pursuing a law degree at Tilburg University—makes him particularly well-suited for handling complex patent cases in sectors such as electronics, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

After gaining experience at two leading Dutch law firms and an international firm, Wouter joined Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh as a partner in May 2025. He has extensive international litigation experience and understands better than anyone the importance of a strategically aligned approach across different legal systems.

Wouter is active in various international organizations and serves as Chair of the Standing Committee on Client Attorney Privilege of AIPPI. He was closely involved in the establishment of the Unified Patent Court and the EU Trade Secrets Directive. In addition, he teaches at the Politecnico di Milano for the European Patent Litigation Certificate and is a regular speaker at (international) conferences.

In addition to intellectual property, Wouter is also specialized in market regulation within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge and ongoing engagement with developments in the field, he consistently achieves optimal results for his clients.
